Just arrived-a soft, warm cloud of a scarf for winter! The bronzy-brown color is actually dyed from a special mud. The white is the color of the sulaboul thread undyed. The sulaboul thread comes from the outer layer of the cocoon. It's the thickest and naturally softest thread. Only a small portion of the cocoon is Sulaboul, so sourcing this type of silk is more difficult for the weavers. Multiple trips to silk producers are needed to keep the weavers supplied.
