Ikat on the End

Bands of rich espresso and burgundies anchored with a subtle ikat design floating on each end. The ikat patterns are dyed into the thread before it is woven. As the weaver works the loom the pattern emerges. Great skill is needed in the dyeing process and the weaving to keep the pattern consistent.
